Prof. Anjali Prashant Kshirsagar

Prof. Anjali Prashant Kshirsagar is a seasoned academic and a highly respected Assistant Professor at S.P.S.M.B.H’S College of Architecture, Kolhapur. With over 20 years of experience in the field of architecture, she holds both a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and a Master of Architecture (M.Arch) degree. Her extensive experience is complemented by her contributions to research, particularly in the area of industrial noise pollution and the use of natural materials for noise attenuation.

Prof. Kshirsagar has authored several articles in both national and international journals, focusing on critical issues in industrial acoustics and noise pollution. Her work includes research on the “Recommendation of Natural Materials for Industrial Noise Attenuation,” where she explores sustainable alternatives for reducing industrial noise. She has also investigated the “Economic Feasibility of Acoustical Panels of Natural Materials,” offering insights into cost-effective solutions for noise control in industrial settings. Her articles on “Industrial Noise Pollution and Its Effects on Workers in the Forging Industry” and “Controlling Techniques of Noise Pollution in the Forging Industry” highlight her expertise in addressing environmental and occupational health challenges within the industrial sector.

In addition to her research contributions, Prof. Kshirsagar is deeply committed to professional development and education. She has actively participated in several workshops and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) aimed at enhancing the quality of architectural education. Notably, she attended the “Faculty Induction Program” organized by the National Institute Of Advanced Studies In Architecture (NIASA) in collaboration with the School of Architecture at Kalaprabodhini Institute of Design, Kolhapur. Furthermore, Prof. Kshirsagar has been involved in the FDP on “Rational and Qualitative Approach towards Responsive & Qualitative Thesis at U.G. Level,” organized by NIASA & DYPCET, Kolhapur.
